I cannot tell you if you have hymenal problem without gyno exam, but I do not think so. That is normal what you wanted to do, and definitely, you are not the only one. It is normal to be curious about your body, and wish to know it better must be there. First thing that you have to know is that hymen is membrane that covers your vaginal opening. Contrary to popular thinking, it is not completely cover opening. There is an opening for menstrual bleeding, and diameter depends from girl to girl. I can assume you did not go deep enough to feel your hymen, because it is not so close to your vulva. There is another possibility for something you think is hymenal problem, that you stretch it so you could not feel something is pressing your finger. Furthermore, you might go through natural opening of your hymen, which does not mean you have hymenal problem. If you do not have any other problem, there is probably nothing wrong but anyway you might visit gynecologist, because since 15 years, each girl should make one-year check up.
