I have moderate hypertension 143/75. I am taking 20mg Benicar. This seems to keep my hypertension under control. But when I get to doing work or such my pressure will drop down to the range of 95/47 in a hours time. I can lay down for an hour and the blood pressure will rise. I was taking 20mg Benicar with a diuretic and I had a hard time of even walking around before my pressure would drop. Any suggestions as to what is causing this?
