Hi, the cause for hypotension can be lower heart rate. Systolic pressure is the first number in a blood pressure reading, and diastolic pressure, the second number. Your arteries may be in contraction so they are not able to receive more blood. Values for normal blood pressure change in time, but now it is considered that normal blood pressure is 120/80. If you r blood pressure is lower than 90 and 60, it is considered as low. If systolic pressure is normal, and diastolic too low, you are considered to be wit low blood pressure.
