Normally with HYPERthyroidism you tend to loose weight...? You should go see your doctor and he/she can prescribe you with an appropriate medication.

oh haha i must have just read it wrong! sorry, Yeah if you havent already seen a doctor for prescription meds, I would recommend trying that, I've had no luck with over the counter drugs. Most people do better with prescriptions and certain diets... good luck!

We represent "Unauthorized Ad", an on-line company supplying customized vitamin supplements to the USA and we hope this information may be of interest to you.

Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland fails to function adequately, resulting in reduced levels of thyroid hormone in the body. Cretinism is a type of hypothyroidism that occurs at birth and results in stunted physical growth and mental development. Severe hypothyroidism is called myxedema.

The following nutritional components may be beneficial.Iodine in Bladderwrack Extract is essential for the production of thyroid hormone and Iodine deficiency can lead to hypothyroidism. The thyroid hormone (thyroxine) tends to be lower in those with lower blood levels of zinc. In people with low zinc, supplementing with zinc may lead to increased thyroxine levels. Selenium plays a role in thyroid hormone metabolism.

Dr Balch's nutritional team has created a formula that contains important components necessary for optimal function of the thyroid gland. Vitamin C and the Vitamin B Complex 50 are important in thyroid health. They play key roles in the overall function of the immune system and the thyroid gland. Iodine in Bladderwrack Extract is essential for the creation of thyroid hormone (regulates growth, development and energy metabolism). L-Tyrosine is another key component of the thyroid hormone. Extra Zinc with Copper may also help to boost thyroid function, as studies have indicated that Zinc deficiency may be associated with hypothyroidism and Copper is needed for long-term use of Zinc.

Dr. Balch works with "Unauthorized Ad" to provide custom-made natural remedies for anyone who wants an all-in-one daily supplement that addresses all their health concerns, as well as providing the vitamins and minerals needed for optimum health and wellness. We include formula for 680 different health concerns in our database.

If you are concerned or unsure about your symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider for professional medical advice.

I am going to try Thyroid Assist too. Not having high hope but really have no choice left.
I had Hyperthyroid problem, take medication for 6 years, having miserable side effect, then I had radioactive iodine treatment, now I had Hypothyroid for 6 years.
Visit different doctor and specialist, use Levoxyl and Armour Thyro, all gave me different side effect, problem breathing and irregular heart beat for Levoxyl, wake up feeling very bad, chest pain and pressure in the brain for Armour Thyro, the doctor have no alternative for me, the blood test T3, T4 is normal but I feel miserable.
Will report back how Thyroid Assist do after I try it.

Keep in mind thyroid supplements usually take way longer to have an effect. Usually a minimum of 2 months.
