|
|
| IVF does work for women with both fallopian tubes removed. I am 33 and have lost both tubes due to ectopic pregnancies. I have JUST completed IVF in September. It worked for us on the first try. I am 6 weeks pregnant and will find out this week if we will be having one or two babies. There is hope for you. |

YES YOU CAN!!! I am living proof! I am 36 years old and had both of my fallopian tubes removed due to ectopic births. I found out two weeks ago that I was 8 weeks pregnant. I visited with both doctors who performed my surgeries and I have visited with my ob/gyn and neither of them can give me an explanation. We have reviewed all of the charts and x-rays and both tubes were completely removed. |
OMG!!! How long after your tubes were removed did this miracle happen??? |

|
|
| I had both tubes removed due to endometriosis in Sept. 06 and had to have IVF to get pregnant. I got pregnant in my first cycle of IVF two months after the removal of my tubes. I gave birth to our daughter in August 2007. She is now 9 months old. I am 3 weeks late for a period and am starting to wonder if it is at all possible that I could be pregnant!?? I know never say never-but I thought it was impossible! What a gift it would be. I think I will wait another week before I take a test. No symptoms other than missing my period. Anyone out there know the chances of getting pregnant without tubes? |

That gives us hope! WOW pregnant with no tubes, the human body is a miraculous piece of work, I often hear stories of women getting preg naturally that are diagnosed infertile, I hope it happens to me. I had one removed two years ago due to a ruptured ectopic, and i just found out the other is blocked. I am so devastated, the only thing left is IVF, am on a waiting list. It seems like a never ending road, but thanks to you guys it makes it easier, you give us hope. Thanks

Ok just listen, my stomach has gotten bigger (just my belly),
and I have felt movement alot. No one would believe me because
I had my fallopian tubes removed along with one ovary. My husband
thought it couldn't be, but he was able to feel something too twice.
I had a horrible pain on the side where my ovary is, and went to
the ER. The doctor wouldn't consider the idea that I might be pregnant
because of my past operation. But the movement is so much that
it was hard to sleep one night. I have an ob appointment this friday.
I am going to insist they give me an ultrasound to prove me wrong.
I don't know what else to do. No IVF (just to be clear). I feel so anxious
it's all I can think about. |
