Has anybody got an opion on my symptoms, i have been smoking cannabis for about 10years. for the past 5 years i have never smoked really heavily. Roughly 1 joint a night.. that is if i have got any and never reallyy smoked in the day. I had a couple of bad deals and the cannabis i was smoking started getting more of a problem. ie not a very nice feeling no more. I made the decision to stop for a while.. which i have done many times before too.. On my third week, (roughly third week maybe more) i couldnt get to sleep this night. After i got about 10 mins sleep i had to go to work, while in work something clicked in my brain i was striken with anxiety. This is two days later and my brain and body feel really bad. I am depressed and cant think of anything but what happened, also i feel very anxious as it is and has not lifted? i spoke to a friend who had a similar ordeal, who says he has made a full recovery but it took him a long time to come back to normal. has anybody got any answers or similar problems and can offer any advice or comments.

ps i have a doctors oppointment on moday but i would like to not take the road of long term medication.

many thanks
