i believe that is what i have, but am unsure. generally, my bottom lip swells on the inside edge. i cannot link this to any specific food, but i'll often have intense burning when eating something spicy and then notice the swelling later.
last night, i felt the burning when eating gazpacho, which i've always eaten without trouble, and this morning both my upper and lower lips are twice their normal size. the lips feel dry, espec around the perimeter, and then they peel; but they have a beige cast on the most painful areas and it can sometimes ooze. by the time i get to a dermatologist, it is gone. it can last from an hour to a full day.
can you help?
