Hi there! Yes, Guaifenesin is excellent for colds. I used it once. But, I don’t think you should until talking to your doctor first. All people who suffer from high blood pressure or any other type of heart disease, diabetes, poor circulation, glaucoma or increased pressure in the eyes, overactive thyroid should not take Guaifenesin before consulting their doctors, especially if they are taking some medications which can react with Guaifenesin.
