| I am 13 years old and I lost a lot of weight for some reason, even though I didn't stop eating a lot. I now weigh 86 pounds and ever since I lost weight my period stopped. Is this related to my weight? |

Why are you even asking this question on a forum? Like do you honestly expect to get medical advice based on such little information?
First why don't you let your parents know about this and make an appointment with your doctor--that is the ONLY person qualified to answer your question/concern. |

I Understand that you are 13 yrs old, and I AM NOT here to judge you. Sometimes, kids want to ask questions on forums because they might not have certain communication at home or maybe they just feel better asking a total stranger before fronting their own parents.
I am 23 yrs old, I used to weight 110 pounds, and I stopped eating dinner due to the fact that I was staying working late at night at the office.
In a period of 2 months, I've lost 24 pounds. I am now taking vitamins to gain my weight back, I am also eating 3 times a day.
FOR you, I suggest the same, eat 3 times a day, take some vitamins, and also I'd recommend you notify your parents of your weight loss, I am sure they will help you better with this. You are very young, your a still a kid actually, so I will say you would have to maybe visit the doctor so that can better help.
GOOD LUCK!!! And start eating more....healty!!!
YOUR FRIEND,
ROXANA |
