increased heart rate, age 47, female

I am 47, female and I had accident, I felt down stairs. I fractured cervical vertebra, likely small fracture. I was on vioxx, but after 4 days I noticed increased heart rate. . I believe it is side effect. I finished 3 weeks of vioxx, but I still have increased heart rate. Now I am taking another meds to regulate this. Has this happened to anybody else?

I just started with vioxx for the shoulder and neck pain I've been having. I am also female and just have been diagnosed with fibro. For this few days I haven't experienced increased heart rate but I noticed that I am moody. If it counties I would talk to my doc to change. I can't live like this.
