My kid has got Staphylococcus or Impetigo as some people called it. His face is all in crusting blisters. He scratches his face and I am afraid that he is going to have scars. Can someone tell me how long incubation of Impetigo lasts?

Incubation of Impetigo lasts only 2 or3 days. It looks unsightly, but it isn't dangerous and doesn't cause any lasting damage to the skin. It is highly contagious, so better keep him away from school until the sores are fully healed. He can even transmit the infection under the fingernails to other area of the body.
