infant bowel movement

I have an infant 1 week old. I started breast feeding but now I am only bottle feeding. Should the bowel movement be formed like children because they are brown but not formed. I understand I just stopped breat feeding and the bowel movement will be different but the question is are they formed like little children because they aren't now. What should I do if not normal.

What you're describing sounds normal. Infants not yet on solid food have liquid bowels.
