My dad has prostate cancer and is going through kemo he was admitted today and found out he has a infection in his blood. how dangerest is this

Your question is more appropriately addressed to your father's doctor.

An infection in the blood is serious, as it is circulated through the rest of the body. However, as he has been admitted and they are aware of the problem, he is in the best possible place for treatment.

Good luck. Keep in close contact with your dad. He needs your support, and you need to know about the condition that affects the closest genetic match to you...your father!
