It is usually your doctor who helps you with this. Depending on your individual situatuin, your doctor who prescribe the pill should count when you are about to ovulate and when it would be best to have sex in order to get pregnant.
There are some body symptoms that occur when ovulation takes place. Some of the most common ones are increased vaginal mucus, which should be milky and white and raised body temperature. Some women experience so called “mittelsnitz”pain that happens during ovulation. Now, it may happen that these symptoms are not so disctinct when a woman is taking Clomid. You may have less cervical mucus (vaginal discharge) and you may not read it as ovulatroy and you may not notice change in body temperature because when a woman’s taking Clomid, her temperature may already be elevated during those days. So, you should not really rely on the body symptoms.
You should definitely get an ovulatory detection kit but you should know that ovulation should occur within 5-9 days of your last dose of Clomid.
