ingrown hair/lump on shaft of penis

ive had ingrown hairs before on my penis. i'm assuming i have another one now. theres no head to the sore just skin. ive thought about taking a knife to it. ive done similar things before.
this sore is big, about the size of a pinky fingernail give or take a few mm's.

it doesnt hurt by touching it unless i try to squeeze it
anymore advice?

I completely understand what you're saying... I've tried doing the same thing cause i was too embarressed to go to the doctor. I finally went and they removed it but it was traumatic... now I have another one forming out of nowhere and would like to find some other way to make it go away and haven't succeeded. I've tried that antibiotic ointment and it doesn't work.. I've tried everything and it doesn't work!!!! I need help to so if anybody knows ANYTHING please let me know

i Have the same thing , it appeared and the third day i tried to pop it and blood and fluid came out the i left it alone it dont seem to go away , and i do not have the patience to but a hot towel on it

im not stabbing my penis with a needle that sure as hells not happening, does anyone know what to do

So, heres the situation... I got an ingrown one which i'm dealing with, its ok, but, theres another one thats underneath the skin, near the head. Its not popping up or anything, and i was wondering if anyone else had a fix or solution?

About 4 days ago I decided to shave a bit in the shower. I don't know what got into me but I went a little crazy and shaved a bit of my "sack" and the base of my penis. At one point, though, I think I nicked my penis on the underside of the shaft.
I got this same problem about 6 hours ago. I got out of bed and immediately noticed a pain on the underside of my penis. It was a abnormally large red bump that hurt basically whenever it touched anything. I freaked out in the shower and tried to pop it, but the pain was just to much. I don't have any fear that it's an STD because I'm just 14 and still, of course, a virgin. But for that same reason of me being just 14 I can't get myself an appointment and I really hate talking to my parents about that stuff.
Please, somebody help me out. You're my only hope! I like my penis as much as the next guy and I don't want it infected.

Same for me im even 14 but i popped it a few days ago and just while i was reading this i tried to pop it again and the membrane thing or whatever came right out with an audible pop =D haha just make sure you not right over it cause even though i was a good foot and a half away it popeed into my eye :/

i like most of you found a couple of these and started to worry very bad cause i recently started talking to the most wonderful beautiful girl in the whole world and im thinking your screwed you've got to tell her your damaged goods i think to myself if its an std your screwed so try something so i poke a couple with a needle they bleed a lil i put on a bandied and wait today there are little hairs coming out epic win ladies and gentleman.

ive got the same problem, im only 17, virgin still, and like most males adore my penis. im getting very very worried that it could be something different and im not really that interested in getting to it with a knife or needle, i dont want to damage it . being 17 i cant get to a 'doc' by myself and i dont want to talk to my parents about it. i dont want to get the cloth because if i do i could have my parents notice and then i'd be in a very very very uncomfortable position, but if it works ill give it a shot.
if anyone can help me id apreciate it beyonde belief.

i cant believe that there are other people out there with this! ive felt like an outcast for so long and just assumed i would have them for the rest of my life!! i bought and sterilized a needle and went after the biggest ones, they bled a little like everyone said, will let you know how it turns out.
