| I practice aikido for a year now, and as far as I'm concern it has everything I need in a martial art. Speed, strength, self control, both simple and complex techniques. But now, I start feeling some pain in my left shoulder. What could that be? Should I see a doctor immediately? I heard that injury treatment (if overstretching is my problem), could take a while. Is that true? |

| It doesn't matter how long injury treatment and rehabilitation last, as long as you heal. Don't fool around, go straight to see a doctor. You're probably right, it could be just the case of over stretching. I had a problem with my foot joint. I didn't go to a doctor, and a week later my ligaments were severely damaged, I had to stay in bed for 2 weeks. Don't let that happen to you. |
