Would a yeast infection cause your thighs to burn? I'm a 39 yr old single woman and recently started having burning in my thighs. I went to the doctor and he found a yeast infection - but we didn't test for other stds. He looked at by vaginal area and saw nothing that would indict herpes. I also have to say I recently divorced, have been dating around and have had mostly protected sex. I missed my period this month but all tests come out negative. the burning in my inner thighs is driving me mad--- could stress cause this?

I've had numerous yeast infections and my thighs never burned. When I had trichomonas my thighs burned. The discharge was like acid.

The discharge in a yeast infection is typically white. The discharge from trich is typically green and has a very foul odor.
