My 15 year old daughter has intestinal swelling about one hour or longer after eating. She swells so much until finally all the food she eats or drinks comes right back up. This has been going on for a year. They have done GI tests, but nothing shows up. She is now developing pain in the lower intestinal area as the swelling increases. After she vomits, the swelling goes down. Also anytime she has to have a bowel movement, her stomach instantly empties. She has lost 45 pounds already. Doctors can not seem to figure out what is wrong. Eating disorders have definitely been ruled out, they would not cause the swelling the develops. Does anyone have any idea??
