Usually, vitamins are good in small doses but they may interfere with some of the processes like in this one. The reason for this is that cancer therapy relies on the destruction of cells and anti-oxidants block this process. That is why it is advised not to take anti-oxidants such as high doses of vitamin C during treatment. Also, St. John’s Wort and grapefruit juice has also been found to interfere with Iressa. Make sure your father gets eat a healthy balanced diet with adequate calories. I am sure that you can get more info from his doctor or nurses, if you haven’t already.
