irregular bleeding after abortion

HI i had an abortion at the beginning of january and still continue to bleed and lose small clots now, it easied of for a few days at the end of january but later began again. should i be concerned or is this normal.

Did you go back for a follow up visit? EVERY woman needs a follow up after an abortion, ESPECIALLY an abortion by pill.

This could even be your period, as many women have clots during their period.

Did your bleeding stop on it's own...did your doctor do anything?

I have a simular problem. I had d&c abortion early March. I am still bleeding, sometimes very heavy or light. On occassion I've had contractions and cramping. I had a sonogram yesterday and as far as they can see there is no left over tissue. My Dr. said they may have to to another d&c if the bleeding does not stop by next week. Crying or Very sad
