I just got over a regular 7 day period, cramps and burning hips and back pain. They've been like that since the birth of my 2nd child. I've also had dysplasia in the past that I guess just went away? Plus a cyst on my right ovary. So I just got finished with that (my period) and I actually stopped, thought I was done until I wake up today and it's like the first day of my period again but there is slightly a bit more cramping and it is coming out in thick bright and dark red stringy clots. I've never had that happen especially after just having one that wasn't light, never are. Could it be a miscarriage or something else. I haven't had a pap in a while and I didn't take a pregnancy test because my period was regular. Why would I be bleeding again with heavier and more painful with clots. I don't use birth control either. Haven't for a few years. Not trying to get pregnant but kinda am, if it happens I'll love it, if it doesn't, it'll happen sometime, attitude.

Wow, I too am going through the same thing. I had my period last month on the 24-29, it was a bit lighter and less painful this time. However, yesterday~July 8~ I started bleeding again, not like how my periods have been before but darker and just not the same. I have no cramps and don't have the period smell (you know what I mean). I am sick to my stomach and so tired. I am going to give it till tomorrow the 10th then perhaps call my doctor.
