irregular periods on birth contol and extreme moodiness

Hello, I am on birth control, but my first two periods were still irregular and my doctor prescribed me to regulate periods. I also experienced extreme moodiness and I fell weak, like I don't have any straight in my muscles and no energy at all. Is this common reaction on birth control, what is happening do you know?

I am not a doctor, but I would say it's most likely a hormone fluctuation, but it's always possible that it could be an underlying health issue. It may just be the brand; maybe you should change a brand of birth control. There are differences in amount of hormones in every brand, but it is definitely a good idea that you are seeing a doctor about it.
