| My brother has started using cyclobenzaprine ever since he injured his left leg when he fell and that was almost a moth ago. He said that he could not stand the pain and went to a doctor who prescribed him with this drug. Still, I have heard that it should be used for no more than three weeks. Is cyclobenzaprine classified as a controlled substance? |

| You are absolutely right. Since it can cause addiction and has some really unwanted side effects like hallucinations, lack of concentration etc, I think you should talk to him about stopping the therapy. The only one who can prolong the treatment is the doctor, no one else. I am not saying that your brother will become an addict, but he just has to be careful, and you help him as much as you can. |
