is it due to foreskin that the condom ALWAYS splits?

hi im a 17year old female in a longterm relationship. me and my boyfriend have had sex a few times and the only problem is he never gets to finish becuase it ALWAYS splits. hes the one who puts the condom on and i know we arent doing anythintg drastically wrong, although i did notice that he has a lot of foreskin and i have a feeling the split because he dusnt pull it bak so it gets tight, apart from this i cant think ov anyother reson.. pease help as i want to have sex with my boyfriend safley and not have to worry it will happen again .. thankyou
