is it safe to use green tea while taking yaz?

i am currently using the birthcontrol pill yaz. I have been on it for about 6 months now without ever having any breakthrough bleeding or any problems. now all of a sudden i started spotting about a week ago. it wasnt a continuos spotting either, i had a little bit of a pinkish discharge after going to the bathroom on wed night. i didnt think anything of it. i didnt have anything again until the next evening again it was just a little bit of pinkish discharge. its gradually been increasing and more like blood now. Tomorrow will be a week and tomorrow or thursday will be the day i am supposed to start my period. could i be pregnant?? and does green tea pills make yaz not as effective?...i have taken a few green tea pills and even drank some green tea and i've read a few places that herbs can affect how yaz works....please help!!
