i am 17 weeks along now, having a sono tomorrow (due date is 3/10/07). is it too early to see what sex the baby is?

Yes, 17 weeks is early to check for a gender. An ultrasound can tell somewhere between week 18 and 20 but sometimes not even then. It depends a lot on the baby’s position. Some people don’t find out if it will be a boy or a girl until birth.
