Hi, I am 35 years old male and I had stressful situation when I divorced from my wife. I have noticed that my hair started to fall of soon after that. My hair always was thick and strong and no one in my family was bald. I would like to know if it may be consequence of the shock and stress I have experienced.

Hi, sudden loss of hair may be caused by stress. Some people react on stress by ulcer in stomach while the other may react with loss of their hair. Fortunately this condition is not permanent and when the stress pass and you recover this loss of hair will stop too. If it continues anyway you would go to see dermatologist.
