Hi, my father is suffering from dementia for almost 7 years. He is 72 years old. I read that there are many people who are much younger but have this disease. Till now I haven't heard for any useful treatment which would give substantial result and improve their condition. I would like to know if there is hope for people who suffer from dementia.

Hi, my relative also suffered from dementia caused by small infarcts. Such dementia may show some signs of improvements by treating cause. In other cases there are not proper medications for people who suffer from dementia. There are some studies which are trying to find genes responsible for dementia but it is too early to talk about it in this moment.
