| You may have a yeast infection. Mild cases of this can show up depending on what foods you eat. It is best to go to the doctor and get it treated so it doesn't keep reoccuring |

Have you seen a gynecologist ever since the itching and the discharge started appearing?
It is quite possible that you have yeast infection that has nothing to do with sex. Yeast infection occurs after antibiotic treatments when all the bacteria is killed, good and bad, and there is no bacteria to make the balance in your vaginal flora and fauna (the balance in the microorganisms presence in our vaginas). When there is no good bacteria, yeast that also lives there overgrows and causes different symptoms among which redness, itchiness, cheese discharge, burning, swelling of vaginal lips, etc. Not all of the symptoms need to be present but these are the ones that occur most often.
You could be also having reactions to the detergents, or excessive vaginal washing and douching, which could also cause yeast infection, so in order to get rid of the symptoms, you need to find a cause. To find a cause and get the proper treatment, you need to see a gynecologist. |
