Hi,
I am 17 and about 6 months ago I had this itchy rash come up..I went to the dermatologist and he diagnosed me with scabies..he gave me cream, Elimite, and it took almost 3 months for it to go away. Then I got ANOTHER rash and the doc said it was an allergic reaction to the first rash..so he gave me a hydrocortisone cream for that. That seemed to clear it all up..but then I started itching again on my legs..he diagnosed this as prickly heat...I've been using lotion and stuff for that and it's gotten much better...however, throughout these past 6 months, ever since I was first diagnosed with scabies, I have had this rash on my groin area...it's read and extremely itchy and there are these lumps that hurt very slightly if I push on them..I can move them around too..they WILL NOT GO AWAY!! If I scratch them they seem to get bigger...I don't understand it..I am very serious about hygiene..I bathe every day, sometimes twice a day, I never wear dirty clothes, and although I'm very active-I cheer, run track, and play basketball- I keep myself as clean and dry as possible..what's the deal??
Do you think these red lumps are swollen lymph nodes? I heard you can get those from an STD or something, but I'm a virgin and not sexually active at all..do you think these bumps could be from all those other rashes,, maybe causing an infection?? What should I do to treat them...it's driving me crazy!!!! |
