ive got a bed smell after giving birth

i had my second child nearly 5 months ago by a normal virginal birth which was great i tore quite a bit and they didnt stitch me so i was in quite a lot of pain for a while afterwards i mentioned to the midwife about a week after the birth i has quite a bad smell form my virgina she said it is just my smell ok?? but ive still got it ive got no abnormal discharge ive had a smear which is ok and ive had 2 normal periods im so embarresed i dont want to have sex with my husband i dont want him near me i wash with simple soap i really dont know what to do can anyone help ?
