Hello! I heard that fruit juice should be drunk on an empty stomach. Does anybody know if this is true and why this is so? Thank you

I know about fruit in general, so I suppose it is the same for fruit juices. If fruit is eaten in an empty stomach, it will play a major role in detoxifying your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. Fruit is not being digested in the stomach but in the intestines. If you eat food before fruit, fruit won’t be able to go straight through the stomach into the intestines. In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and the digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to get spoilt.
