just treated for chlymidia but not sure if it worked

ok- i was just treated for having chlymidia- this would be my second time- usually the doctor will inform you not to have sex for two weeks after being treated- if i had sex 4 days after i was treated and it was with another person is it possible that i could have gotten the infection back?
