Juvenile discogenic disorder is nothing like Scheuermann’s kyphosis bc Scheuermann’s kyphosis is a spine deformity and jdd isn’t. Maybe you got it wrong bc juvenile discogenic disorder is often reffered to as Scheuermann’s disease. juvenile discogenic disorder is a condition where the endplates of the disc spaces are not strong enough to withstand the pressures generated within the disc spaces. This leads to disc herniations into the vertebral bodies and causes back pain at an early age. This pain is made worse with bending forward and activity, and feels better with rest. Jdd is very similar to degenerative disc disease in the adults. There are conservative (non-surgical) treatments and operations are rarely advised. Conservative treatments may include medications, chiropractic or osteopathic manipulations, epidural injections, and physical therapy like exercises and stretching
