I was on dilantin and lamictal for few years and now I changed to keppra. Is keppra good for epilepsy? Apparently those meds I’ve been on before wasn’t effective enough. I had been having petit mals several times a week.

My son has been seizure-free on Keppra/Lamictal combination mostly on 1500 mg/day & 450 mg/day. At first keppra worked on my son, though we have had to continuously raise his dosage, but now a couple yrs later seizures are breaking through.
