knee injury, normal or not?

today i i wiped out on my bike and ended up with a gash on my left knee, its minor but i have some worries about the soft bulbous lump i have embeded in it, also when i bend by knee it its not skin, and its not pus, so i have no idea what it, is this normal? would be great if anyone could help me figure out what it is and weither or not i need to worry about it.

This probably warrants you needing to go to the doctor. A gash needs to be cleaned by someone who knows how to do so medically, even if it is minor. And since you were saying there were some abnormal things with the injury, get it checked and cleaned by a doctor. You don't want it to get infected. Think about going to urgent care.
