knee still locking and popping after microfracture surgery!

Hi! My older brother had a serious knee injury last month. He had a microfracture surgery. But now, week after surgery his knee still locking and popping. He is desperate and I’m worried. I don’t know what to say to him. Can somebody share with me his experience with this kind of problem, please? Thank you!

Hi! I also had a microfracture surgery two years ago. I remember that I needed a lot of time after surgery to recover totally. I know for sure that most patients can return to intense activities in about 4 months after surgery. Probably he just need more time to be better. He needs to exercise.
