Hi, I was diagnosed with labyrinthitis when I went to a doctor because of my balance problems. He told me that it’s probably caused by head injurey that I had recently. I am starting tomorrow a vestibular rehabilitation therapy, and I am wondering is recovery with this treatmant successful?

Hi, I had labyrinthitis, and it was a nightmare! I couldn’t move because of the dizziness and vertigo. I was anxious and depressed, and it took five weeks for me to recover. After the recovery, I still had a little dizziness, but it disappeared after couple of weeks. For anxiety I used valium, and prednisone for labyrinthitis. I also went on a same therapy as you. The vestibular rehabilitation therapy really helped me in reducing anxiety and labyrinthitis. It lead to a full recovery. Good luck!
