I am taking lamictal for a month, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder couple of years ago, and I was on different drugs since than. Now I am much disciplined how I am taking and when I am taking lamictal. A couples of days ago bump on my lip arisen. Now I am nervous again and confused…and I don’t know is this from this drug or what. I s it possible that bump is side effect of Lamictal?

You should seek doctor’s attention if you have bump on your lip or swelling of the lips, tongue, and face...in rare cases Lamictal has been associated with severe rashes on skin and symptoms I just mentioned. I know that usual side effects are dizziness or drowsiness, nausea and vomiting, headache etc. Try to come down, I am sure you’ll be fine; it is possible that something else caused bump on your lip.
