i want to know if i can have the lap band surgery while taking prednisone. i have been taking phentermine while taking prednisone but it seems as if it is not working. pls help, desperate to lose this weight.

It's not likely a Dr. will do any kind of surgery unless medically necessary.
Prednisone is not a good drug to have to be on. Talk with your Dr., he or she will direct you.
Being on prednisone will cause weight gain. Being a little over eight isn't a reason to be depressed. Theres so much great things to live for and being skinny isn't one of them.'
Have you seen those girls. Ewwww, they look ill.

WHY ?? My GP says only concern is slower healing.
