About a week ago i noticed a small irritated bump on my stomach. At that time it looked to be a inward growing hair. I plucked the hair with twizers and keep the are clean. 4 days later the bump is extremly large and painful. I tried to keep heat on it thinking this would help the bump to form a head and drain. The skin around the bump is very stiff and painful. It has become hard, very large, with bleeding and puss. I'm going to go to the ER today to get help because I can't deal with the pain. Can anyone tell me what this is from?
You kept heat on that bump and you're wondering why do you have infected bump now? Did you tried to squeeze it out? It could be a kind of ulcer or something similar, but you shouldn't try to put it out by yourself.
You shouldn't do that ... But you already did it
The doctor will disinfect this, and probably you'll get some meds for yeast infection you made trying to pluck the hair out.
Personally, I don't think it is an ulcer, but you never know ... Therefore go and check it out with your doc ... Let us know what happened with you ...
