large vaginal discharge

I am 19 and i just recently started taking birthcontrol pills and I started my period 3 days ago and last night i felt a lot of pain when i went to go to the bathroom as i pulled the tampon out a large blood clot came out and seconds later a large piece of tissue came out too, I'm not sure what it may be or what has caused it I am sexually active but I dont think i could be pregnant i talked with my boyfriend and he said that he didnt think it could be possible for me to be pregnant so what could it be ? I'm scared because the tissue looked as if it had veins and there were some spots bloody looking and others whitish pink! somebody help!

It is quite possible that this is your reaction to birth control pill. I had similar experience.
I had bloody spotting when I wasn’t about to have a period and I also had excessive vaginal discharge. I got a bit scared because of these problems, so I went to see a gynecologist. She examined me and didn’t find anything. She also told me what I told you. She said I should wait for another 2-3 cycles and come again if I continued to experience problems. But I haven’t.

She also asked if I suffered from any diseases. Did you maybe have problems with vaginal bleeding before? I think that diabetes is also not suitable for bc pills or vice versa!

i had the same large tissues spill out of me. did you find out the problem??????????

I have had those problems off and on. clots are normal but just watch the size of them. You would know if you were pregnant and were having a miscarriage as he cramps are really bad and it looks like a sack that you pass. I have had two miscarriages and they were both the same, crampy and bleeding but resides after a couple of days after my D&C
