I am faced with late period I miss it for about a month and I know I am not pregnant and also I have some slight cramping and slight breast pains lately so I really need to know what might have caused this. I hope it is not some illness but for I am really terrified with these slight cramping and this late period especially while breast is on so should I wait a little bit more for my period or I should seek some medical advice?

That is for sure you should seek medical advice if you miss your period this month for there is always some reason to it. Though it doesn't have to be for some organic illness I had once the exact same problem with frequent late period accompanied by slight cramping and slight breast pains and after physical exams it turned out that my late period was caused by emotional stress I was under at that time. So this is just one of the possible late period and slight cramping causes but there are also some other causes such as using some contraceptives that in some woman might result in late period followed by slight cramping and even slight breast pain, also some thyroid disease might have caused this as well as eating disorder but also too much of vigorous exercises. Or it might be due to some hormonal imbalance caused by ovarian cysts or something like that. So whatever the cause of late period medical exam is always advised for if it is about any disease the faster it is recognized the better are results.
