lexapro;help please

I AM A 41 YR OLD FEMALE, BEEN ON LEXAPRO FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS...RECENTLY WENT OFF IT BY ACCIDENT FOR A WEEK AND A HALF....THOUGHT I WAS DYING..........WHEN I REALIZED I WAS MISSING MY PILL I DID TAKE IT, ONE, THIS JUST HAPPENED, AFTER READING THESE STATEMENTS.....SHOULD I TAKE SMALL DOSES UNTIL I'M OFF, SHOULD I KEEP THE COLD TURKEY GOING,DEFINETLY NOT ENJOYABLE, I AM ALSO TREATED FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, THAT IS REGULATED THOUGH AND UNDER CONTROL.......I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THIS HAS BEEN MAKING ME FEEL.....I HATE TO RESUME AFTER ALL I'VE BEEN THROUGH BUT IF A SMALLER DOSE AND A SMALLER DOSE WOULD HELP I JUST DON'T KNOW.....ANY ADVISE? i have also been on lepraxo for four years and recently valium ,as i am trying to stop drinking as it was making my depression much worse, only take your docs advice re cutting down ,it really is weird if you try to stop yourself.
i am a single dad so i have to focus on my boys ,so i am trying to get off everything ,but one at a time i guess. Question
