light bleeding between periods

Hello. I'm 24 year old female and just recently a strange thing has happened to me. First, I would like also to tell that I'm sexually active but recently been to gynecologist who told me that I'm completely healthy with no infections present.
About three days ago, almost in the middle of my cycle I have experienced a mild abdominal pain and light bleeding.
I was very confused because I thought it is early menstruation bleeding but there was too small amount of blood.
What could be the cause of this light bleeding between periods that lasted only one day?

Listen, you are not alone with this problem because many women have experience it. Spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods usually lasts 1 or 2 days.
The most common explanation of this is that these lighter “periods between periods” may represent an endometrial lining that is unstable because hormonal levels don't adequately support it. Other causes could be use of some medications, excessive exercise or weight loss, obesity and stress. Try to avoid these possible triggers and contact your gynecologist if this appears next month also.

Im almost certian that i am not pregnant because I have had a normal birth control cycle with my 4 day period and took two pills in one day... that was a week and a half ago and I have had spotting ever since! It hasnt gone away and im getting worried. I also am experiencing bloating. I dont know what it is because I read spotting can last a few days but hardly a week and a half! Anyone know whats up?

oh and btw this spotting is happening like, every time i wipe...

Hello, I tested on 13 days past ovulation and i got a very light pink positive line, but on day 14 i got my period , can I be pregnant? Has this happened to anyone before?

hey im getting exactlyyy the same as you and im really gettin worried now cuz its happend las month too but i was being sick also last month but havent experienced any sick ness yet... i dont no wt it could be please help ??

um hey.. well im only 15 but i had sex a couple days ago and a day or so after i had some light bleeding for 3 days now .. im so scared i thought i was pregneat . but we used a condom and my boyfriend didnt even cum, and im also on birth control... i also get my period next week im so scared though !!! plez help me .. whats the bleeding from? .. im 26 and i've been on Nuva ring for four years. I just recently stopped using it. I want to have another baby. I stopped in october had period in november and in december on the 20th to be exact ended on the 26th but still spotting very lightly. Could i be pregnant?

I got pregnant 2 weeks after I took out the nuva ring. It doesn't take as long to get out of your system as they say it does. So be careful!

i'm 25 and have been on birth control pills since i was 17, with no problems. for the last 12 days i've been steadily bleeding in the middle of my pill pack, and now that i finished the pill pack, the bleeding stopped. i'm not sure what happened, or if my period is going to come now that the pack is done, or what.....does anyone know if stress can cause this, i mostly only find information that indicates it could be pregnancy....also, does anyone know how long its ok to take the pill? i feel like 8 years is a long time!
