light bleeding in between periods, is this a problem?

I am on the pill and have been for around 6 months now, I am also sexually active with my boyfriend (also 6 months). However for the past 2 months i have been experiencing very light vaginal bleeding. I would not normally be worried about this as the bleeding is very light, but the fact that it has continued for 2 months is beginning to worry me.

I was just wondering if it is worth seeing a doctor about, or if this is normal?
