light spotting in vaginal area, not pregnant or have period

My period is due in about 2 weeks, and last night i notice a little blood on the toliet paper, it was a very light pink and there was only a little, it was there today, its just a very light pink color, there was a small blood clot that was deep red but that is it, i wore a pantiliner and there was a small spot about the size of a penny, and it was light pink, i took a pregnancy test and it said i wasn't pregnant?? can any one tell me what could be wrong with me??

Did you find out what your diagnosis was? I seem to be having the same thing right now but am hoping it is implantation bleeding. Did you find out if you were pregnant or not? Or was it something else? If it was I would like to know that as well so I know how to proceed. Please contact me offline via email if necessary. Any assistance would be helpful. Thank you.
