Hello, I am JAcke, and I am 13 years old. I have been listening to Nirvana’s song called lithium. It is really cool, I loved it. Anyway, I heard that this lithium is a medication. Does anybody here know what it is used for? Thx heaps!

It is also used as a drug to reduce chemicals in the body that cause excitation or mania. lithium is used to treat manic episodes of manic-depressive illness. It is used for preventing and controlling the symptoms of mania such as hyperactivity, rushed speech, poor judgment, reduced need for sleep, aggression, and anger.
