I was feeling some abdominal pain and fever. Also I have lost my weight in no time and went to the doctor. So I did many tests, liver function test, abdominal ultrasound, liver biopsy... And was diagnosed with liver hepatoma. Soon I will have a liver tumor surgery and would like to hear more about that.

Hi, liver tumor surgery is necessary sometimes, in order to remove cancerous and nearby non-cancerous tissue as well. It could mean total surgical removal of the liver lobe, or removal of segments of the liver. You also have radiation and chemotherapy, and a liver transplation. I have been reading a lot about the liver tumors because I had metastatic liver cancer and went to a surgery, so called partial gastrectomy (they removed a part of my stomach, not all). I was on chemotherapy, also.
