long periods

I am 19 years old and came on my period two weeks las saturday. i am getting worried now as i am still bleeding, this is 16th day i have bled for. the colour of the blood ranges from really dark to light pink?
i first thought that i had a longer period because i started taking the contraception pill again, however ths has never occured before.
should i be worried?

I think this is due to the pills because they can make your periods wackie....pills can even interfere with your menstrual pattern as well as cause breakout bleedings. Have you started taking pills on your own or have you been prescribed by a doc?

Sixteen days is way to long, i would see a doc if I were you to check for an underlying problem or change the type of bc pills.
